Control and Start of Three-Phase Motors
The SSP Provolt Soft-Starter, is a high performance product with micro processed DSP control, which allows to limit the starting current of asynchronous three-phase induction motors.
The control of the current during the start of the motor is carried out by thyristors. After departure, a by-pass contactor is triggered. It has accumulator of operating hours that allow you to control the maintenance period of the machine.
They also allow you to control the number of pair of starts/hour and avoid overheating and engine damage.
Monitors sequence and lack of phase, current imbalance and overload, protecting and shutting down the engine in these cases.
It has pressote input, oil, emergency and purge output, relief, suitable for application in air compressors.
