Time passes very fast, at that same time 5 years ago, we closed the supply of 24 rectifiers with the world's largest player in the electricity sector, in the powers of 240A, 150A and 130A, in addition to direct current distribution boards and fuse protection frames for the protection of battery banks, for the HVDC of Belo Monte, the largest brazilian hydroelectric power plant and the third largest in the world.
The first bipole, of Belo Monte Transmissora de Energia (BMTE), which connects the Belo Monte plant to Xingu, the Ibiraci substation in Minas Gerais, connecting 4000MW at 800kVCC for more than 2,076km to the national integrated system – SIN.
The equipment provided has the best in technology and robustness, being approved and praised by the customer. Provolt's RCMP PLUS line rectifiers have high-tech embedded microprocessors, ARM and DSP core, with various readings and sensors for measuring their internal components in addition to the measurement of voltage, temperature and symmetry of the battery banks. All this connected to the supervisory system of the control room and the transmission bays, via communication and discreet contacts, bringing real-time information to the operator about the status of the vital system 125Vdc of the substation.
Beyond the pride that brings us a supply of this magnitude, being the first ultra high voltage line in 800KV in Brazil, we contributed to the anticipation in 2 months of the entry of the line into the national system, being one of the first companies to deliver the equipment of the control rooms in the works.
An immense challenge for our company at the time, but accepted with great courage and determination. PROVOLT demonstrated to the market and our partners the ability to meet the needs and production of equipment with great embedded technology and extreme reliability, in one of the most important transmission lines for the national system.
What challenge do you have for us today?
