The IEP TAP is an equipment consisting of a nonstop power system
powered by a continuous power source and the AC network.
The equipment feeds two distinct loads:
- MOTOR:
Three-phase Tap Switch Motor Feed
- COMMAND:
Power transformer TAP switch controllers
Both sources have their output priority selectable individually:
- Network Priority
Energy from the Substation AC Network
- Inverter Priority
Energy from the Substation DC Network

Motor frequency inverter | The motor inverter module is composed of a booster, DC/DC voltage lift, and a frequency inverter for an three phase motor drive. The engine will only be triggered through the external control (enables motor). |
Static Inverter | The PWM type static inverter module controlled by dsp microprocessor generates a sine wave in the output by modules of type IGBT, and the priority selection control is performed by a static switch, which has a very low response time and free of noise generated by mechanical contacts |
