The Static Switch is an electronic device used in activating or switching resistive and inductive loads. It has basic high-speed switching or load transfer characteristic. The double Static Switch used in UPS and Provolt Static Inverters perform the transfer by switching in times less than 4ms, so they do not generate a considerable drop or interruption of energy in their output terminals in the transition with a lack of energy in one of the sources.

The Static Switch can be used in single-phase and three-phase circuits. Its current and tension limits are basically defined by the components used in manufacturing, they are normally used at low tension.

Advantages:

• No electrical noise, sparking or mechanical wear;

• Light indicator (LED) status indicator "On" or "Off";

• Internal protection circuit (Snubber) of the output;

• Zero Crossing: electronical circuit synchronization determines the connection at zero Volt and turns off at zero Ampere;

• Optical isolation between control and power.
